Aucto Help Center
A private seller is a seller on Aucto.com that wishes to ensure that their identity is not known by the public. While the seller's identity is private, Aucto ensures that the seller meets our strict guidelines for selling on the website. As part of the anonymity, the seller's name will not be named and no logo branding will be displayed on Aucto.com to the general public. Only Those approved for the sale will be able to see information on who the seller is.
The sale will be conducted as per standard Aucto auctions with the buyer needing to agree to the seller's terms before being permitted to submit bids.
Can I Still Contact a Private Seller?
You are unable to contact a private seller before you have been approved to submit bids in their auction. This is done to ensure the identity remains private before the sale. Once you have been approved for the sale, you will be able to contact the seller directly via the Aucto messaging center. To access the Aucto messaging center, you must click the contact button next to the seller's name badge.
What we do at Aucto isn’t something that we come across in people’s everyday lives. It solves a huge problem but for a market that is industrial in nature. When I first started at Aucto and was asked, what do you do, I found it was easier to convey the main value levers of our business using real life examples.
